DARCH -- FORSYTH
Marriage Solemnized Beneath as Arch of Greens and Flowers
The home of Mr. and Mrs. James Forsyth of the northeastern part of Batavia was the scene of a happy event last evening, when their daughter, Margaret Eliza, was united in marriage to Louis C. Darch, the ceremony being performed at 6:30 o'clock by the Rev. W. H. Farnham of East Elba. The bridal party entered the parlor to the strains of a wedding march played by Miss Marian Darch, sister of the groom. The marriage was solomnized beneath an arch of evergreens and flowers.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Grace Forsyth, and Herbert Darch, brother of the groom, acted as best man. The bride wore a gown of white Persian lawn, trimmed with lace and ribbons, and she carried Bride roses.
The bridesmaid was also gowned in white and carried white carnations. Ethel Forsyth and Grace Laramy, nieces of the bride, were flower girls. Following the ceremony and congratulations a bountiful repast was served to about sixty guests. The bride, received many handsome gifts.
Mr. and Mrs. Darch went east on their wedding trip and they will be at home in Batavia after July 20th. Many friends will extend congratulations and best wishes.
